Joanna Kam, MD
Dr. Joanna Kam is a highly trained board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon with additional training in facial plastic surgery.
She strives to provide exceptional personalized patient care, focusing on each patient’s goals to formulate individualized treatment plans. Dr. Kam specializes in aesthetic rejuvenation of the aging face and neck, facial reconstruction after skin cancer removal, and cosmetic rhinoplasty. She also performs functional nasal and sinus surgery, scar revision surgery, and skin cancer reconstruction.
Dr. Kam trained as a classical pianist, earning a Piano Performer’s Associate Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music prior to receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of British Columbia. She received a full-tuition scholarship to attend the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and was inducted to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Kam then completed a residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. She moved to Philadelphia as a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and now calls south Jersey home.
